Antec nine hundred black gaming case

Looks good too. Cons: - The HDs are mounted using non standard length screws. The suckers are long. If you lose the screws, you could be in trouble.

This case seems strangely behind the times in this regard and out of place in relation to the rest of the case. Current locations of holes make the long cables on my power supply seem a bit short. Case maybe should be a bit wider to make area between mobo and side of case a bit roomier. It's a bit of a tight fit. The DVI cable almost wouldn't connect to my vid card. To ensure the cable would fit properly, I used pliers to bend the side of the slots out a bit.

Overall Review: Pay attention to the cable management complaint above and the length of cables. I read a review about this case prior to purchasing it. The reviewer mentioned an extension cable had to be used to hook up the 8-pin power connector to the mobo if you used cable management for it.

I ordered such an extension cable along with my case which turned out to be needed. Otherwise, I would've had to run the cable in the open instead of using cable management.

My desk limited me to midATX cases. I almost bought that case but didn't due to lack of air filters which the Antec case has. I can't help but wonder if maybe I should've gone CoolerMaster. Ultimately, I like this case and am glad I have it. I considered giving this a 5 star with some reservations. Instead, the problem with the slots not having enough room is a big deal.

Hence my 4 stars. I shouldn't have to bend items on a new case!! It took me forever to figure it out. Replaced motherboard, PSU, front panel header which doesn't include the reset switch , and finally figured it out. Not a horrible defect, but it was just so annoying to deal with. Overall Review: Good case. Still worth buying. However, just want people to know about this problem I encountered. Pros: Very spacious, 4 fans come attached with room for 2 more, lovely blue LEDS on all fans, see-through side to showcase all the high end hardware you've invested in, thumb screws for super easy removal of side panels-takes only a matter of seconds, front usb 3.

Cons: the front two fans don't like to go back in very easily after cleaning, but that's not really a big issue. Overall Review: The mm fan on top runs silently, and the other three are hardly audible. The airflow in this case simply cannot be beat. Pros: 1 - LED's And the fact that they turn off when you put the computer to sleep is nice so you can have it in your room if you want to 2 - The cable management is great in this case 3 - The CPU cutout to install a new cooler at a later date is huge so that you don't have to take out the motherboard to install the new cooler and I love it long time.

Cons: 1 - Removing the air filters can be time consuming but it's a necessary thing to do. You can either have the filters and spend some time unscrewing things and cleaning them or you can not have them and you have to clean each part on the inside of your computer individually which just ins't as much fun.

Overall Review: Overall, great case. It has a few flaws in it, but those aren't even that big. It is a good looking case and cheap. I 'm glad I bought it! Overall Review: Side panels metal, inside is metal, part of front is plastic. Great air flow, typically have to clean filters every month or two fairly dusty; sitting beneath stairs Overall great case, great cable management, great size.

Love the case, love the brand! Instead of having one or two fans running at a high speed, having all these fans at a lower speed means less noise and just as much air flow. There is lots of room inside, but there are no useful features, like screwless expansion brackets, drive bays, or a removal motherboard tray.

This is a top knotch case that has found its way to the top of my personal choice list. Editorial independence means being able to give an unbiased verdict about a product or company, with the avoidance of conflicts of interest.

And don't worry, that black plastic thing snaps on and off.

Cons: Make sure your power supply has power cords that have some length. My Cool Master did just fine, but I was worried. And, get ready to do some dusting on a regular basis.

Overall Review: Women, money, women, women, women, money, women, computers, women, money, golf, women, women, money, women, money, women. Pros: This is a solid case - I was concerned about possible size restrictions, but it fit pretty well - I added the optional side intake fan and have all fans on low except for the lower front which is on medium to cool my HDDs - This case dropped my temps about 15C on my GT and about 25C on my HDDs - for anyone needing solid cooling, this is for you.

Cons: If you have a decent size graphics card you cant use the "duct" idea they suggest not that its needed, the case cools just fine Having a completely perforated front bezel means that it attracts dust, but it suprisingly doesn't seem to take that dust into the comp, just make it stick to the front No real problems. It must have dropped my off a cliff in shipping cause the front of the box was all bashed in, but the case was fine.

For everyone complaining of cable space: There's plenty of room under the lower HDD cage. Pros: - The best airflow. The mm fan is even pretty quiet on max. The 's get louder than I like on high, med is ok for most people I'd imagine. Big plus. Cons: - You'll pretty much need a modular power supply unless you want to have a pool of cables in the bottom of your case - It's too heavy for serious LANers and awkward to carry - Power supplies are designed to drop from the top down, so your cables will be upside-down when connected to drives - Adding and removing drives can be a bit of a pain - Mounting a front 3.

I am not a fan of blue night lights. Overall Review: I checked this case out in person at BxxxBxx they let me take it out of the box and examine it first so I knew what I'd be getting. Was ready to buy it there, checked Newegg, saw it on special - got it here!

Despite the "Cons" above, I do not, for a second, regret purchasing this case. It is large and has ample airflow for my overclocked Q It is awesome looking, and what is more important than that in a case?

Plus it's not flimsy aluminum, it's quality rolled steel. Steel cases won't rust unless they get quite wet, in which case your case would be your last concern. Sold by: Newegg Shipped by Newegg. Cons: LEDs are bright if room darkness is a concern for a home theater. Did you find this review helpful? Yes No. Nicholas T. Good case, bad fans? Overall Review: Solid case, good construction, poor fans.
